Yashraj Mukhate's ‘Aaj Toh Sunday Hai’ AI Mashup Has Mohan Kannan’s Attention
Yashraj Mukhate shared a mashup titled ‘Aaj toh Sunday hai,’ where he combined the vocals of Vishal Dadlani and Mohan Kannan using AI.

Yashraj Mukhate, popular for his viral hit song like the Rasode Mein Tha, is once again making headlines and left the internet impressed with his latest creation. This time, the talented musician shared a unique mashup titled ‘Aaj toh Sunday hai,’ where he combined the sweet phrase by a little girl Shravani with the vocals of Vishal Dadlani and Mohan Kannan. In the viral video, Mukhate blended the catchy phrase ‘Aaj toh Sunday hai, rajma chawal banayegi’ with his signature beats, with Dadlani and Kannan’s voice samples. Interestingly, he added his own voice to the mix using AI to come up with a truly unique and entertaining melody. Mukhate shared the clip on his Instagram page, the song quickly captured the attention of social media users and garnered over 47 lakh views.

The musician explained, “So I saw this video by Shravani the other day and I just realised ki, ‘Aaj toh Sunday hai,’ is such a good hook for a song. So I put a beat to it, but then it thought it’s too short and not enough for a hook, so I wrote a nice melody around it. But then I thought my voice was just too thin for this melody. So I used AI, took some samples of Vishal Dadlani’s voice, took some samples of Mohan Kannan’s voice, then layered it with my voice and blended everything together to make a new voice. So now the song that you’ll hear is the combination of all these 3 voices put together.”

The comments section was filled with positive reactions, but it was Mohan Kannan’s reaction that captured everyone’s attention. The singer wrote, “Arre arre arre who thinks like this and of course now I want to eat rajma chawal.”

Meanwhile, reacting to the clip, a user wrote, “Shravani be like, ‘main toh famous hogayi’.”

Another joked, “Now go make a sad song: Kal Monday hai.”

“Another girl getting famous because of legendary Yashraj Bhai. Keep making these cute people famous, they deserve it,” a comment read.

An individual asked, “We need a full version of it.”

Another wrote, “Bro is making Sunday more vibeful.”

A user added, “Bro casually made a Banger, superb.”

In a conversation with Indian Express, Yashraj Mukhate earlier discussed his sudden rise to fame due to the viral song Rasode mein kaun tha.
