Anastasiia Beaumont trained her dog Salsa, a border collie, to dance to the Oscar-winning song.

A mesmerising dance performance by a woman and her dog on AR Rehman’s ‘Jai Ho’ is raking in likes. In the video, dog trainer Anastasiia Beaumont dances with her border collie Salsa, on the Oscar-winning song. Anastasiia and her ‘dance partner’ Salsa impressed the judges with their perfectly choreographed moves and got a unanimous ‘yes’ vote on the stage of Romania Got Talent. During her performance, Anastasiia wore an Indian style yellow coloured dhoti and blouse ensemble. Anastasiia shared a video of their audition round on Instagram on February 24 and got over 1.5 lakh likes.

She captioned her video, “Our performance at the Romania Got Talent show! All the judges said “Yes”. If you want to teach your dog interesting tricks and dance – visit my online school Dog Dance Mania.” Commenting on it, an Instagram user wrote, “Pup is having so much fun! A delight to watch.” Another commented, “Beautiful bonding!”

Previously, Anastasiia shared some photos from her performance at Romania Got Talent and showed how her fondness for dog dancing offered her many opportunities. She wrote, “In September, when Salsa and I were returning from the European Championship, I received a message about an invitation to a talent show in Romania.”

Anastasiia, who runs a dog training school called DogDanceMania in France, said that initially she was hesitant to participate in the show but then pushed her fear of failure aside and said yes. She shared all her dance videos with the show’s producers who asked her to dance on ‘Jai Ho’. She then spent three weeks practicing with Salsa before flying to the Romanian capital Bucharest to take part in the show.

Speaking of her experience of dancing on the popular reality show, she recalled, “It was very exciting and thrilling to perform on such a stage! I was worried how Salsa would react to the large number of spectators and various distractions, but she was a real little star. And the positive energy of the audience and loud applause only energised our dance (at least so it seemed to me at the moment).”

She thanked the showmakers for aptly assisting her and wrote, “Looking at these photos, I still can’t believe it all happened for real. Performing on such a beautiful stage was a dream come true for me and I am very grateful to the producers and managers of Romanian TV for inviting me and Salsa to this show and giving us such a warm welcome!”
