Whether boiled, scrambled, or fried, eggs have long been a breakfast staple. Among the various delicious recipes, boiled eggs are often recommended for their nutritional value. However, let’s confess, peeling boiled eggs without breaking them, is honestly a task. Well, not anymore.
A viral clip is making waves with its innovative boiled egg peeling hack. What sets it apart? Well, for one, it’s a time-saving technique that ensures the albumen remains intact without any breakage. Shared by chef Anatolii Dobrovolskyi, the clip showcases a street vendor, believed to be Indian, demonstrating this efficient egg peeling method, eliciting a reaction from the chef himself.
In the now-viral clip, the street vendor can be seen peeling only the top part of the boiled eggshell. Next, he inserts a spoon inside the remaining shell and starts rotating it, in a circular motion, giving him a cleanly peeled boiled egg. Seeing this, the curious chef goes on to try it. He takes four eggs and boils them. Once done, just like the street vendor he peels the top part of the egg and inserts the spoon. The video shows him rotating the spoon, closer to the eggshell in a circular manner. Voila! This life hack works. What are you waiting for? Go, try it yourself. Sharing the clip, the chef wrote, “Testing the Viral Egg Peeling Lifehack! Can we really peel an egg this easily? Watch till the end for a hilarious surprise!”
Needless to say, the clip even impressed the internet. In no time, several users flooded the comments section with their reactions. A comment read, “Eggcellent kitchen hack.”
Another read, “I also do this with kiwis, just top and tail and scoop it out.”
A user revealed that while this hack works amazingly sometimes, it might get messy. “Sometimes yep sometimes messy,” the user commented.
Many Indians were proud that this hack was by an Indian street vendor. “India is not for beginners.”
A few lauded the chef that even after reaching this point, he has a learning spirit, as a user wrote, “Even though he’s the chef, he won’t stop learning. Come on guys.”
Some suggested different ways to peel eggs, as a comment read, “Boil water, add eggs for 8 min. Cool them with cold water. Just tap and roll them over the counter so they break all around and you pull it off easily.”
