A video circulating online depicts a startling incident where a government school teacher was chased away by students. Reports suggest that the teacher arrived at the school intoxicated, prompting the students’ reaction. The viral footage shows the teacher hastily starting his motorbike amidst a flurry of slippers being hurled at him by the students. He quickly exits the school premises as the students continue to throw slippers at him.

Reportedly, the incident took place at Pilibhatta Primary School in Chhattisgarh’s Bastar district. According to reports, the teacher’s consistent attendance in class while under the influence of alcohol was a cause for concern. Rather than fulfilling his teaching duties, he would frequently resort to sleeping on the floor. When students confronted him about his behaviour, he allegedly responded with verbal abuse, leading to frustration among the students. Last week, the situation reached a breaking point when the teacher arrived intoxicated once again. Fed up with his behaviour, the students decided to take matters into their own hands, leading to the confrontation captured in the viral video.

Since its online debut, the video has sparked widespread outrage among internet users. Comment sections have been flooded with expressions of displeasure towards the situation depicted. One user remarked, “These kids must be an inspiration to all silent sufferers. There comes a time when the patience of the victims will come to an end and retaliation begins ending the perpetrators aggression.” Another user commented optimistically, “Bright future with these kids.”

Not long ago, a video depicting a teacher entering a school premises with a bottle of liquor surfaced online, causing widespread outrage. The incident occurred in Chhattisgarh’s Bilaspur district. The video captured a man identified as Santosh Kewat, purportedly a teacher at the government school, being confronted about openly carrying alcohol. Unfazed by the confrontation, Kewat admitted to his daily drinking habit, responding with, “Koi dikkat (Is that a problem?)”.

Expressing concern, the person questioning him emphasised the inappropriateness of such behaviour within a school environment, stating, “This behavior is unacceptable inside a school premises. The students are watching you.” Soon after, Kewat proceeded to leave his bike outside and enter the staff room. Disregarding the presence of fellow teachers, he stated, “I’ll come late, it’s my wish,” before seating himself and prominently displaying his alcohol bottle on a table, encouraging the person filming to capture the scene.

The video quickly went viral, sparking widespread outrage online, with many condemning Kewat’s actions and calling for appropriate disciplinary measures to be taken.
