The footage shows about 4-5 men dragging the victim, thrashing him repeatedly, and pulling off his jacket before dropping him onto the floor.

A group of pickpockets allegedly assaulted a passenger on a moving bus in the national capital, Delhi, leaving him brutally beaten up and forcibly ejected from the vehicle. The incident, which took place recently, was captured on camera, either by a CCTV device inside the bus or by a commuter witnessing the altercation. The Delhi Police have been urged to investigate the matter and apprehend the culprits responsible for this brazen attack.

The footage shows about 4-5 men dragging the victim, thrashing him repeatedly, and pulling off his jacket before dropping him onto the floor of the bus. The attackers can be seen pulling his hair, slapping him and kicking him in a violent act that left the other passengers in shock and fear. The victim was then forcefully made to exit the bus, where the fight reportedly continued on the streets.

The video has since gone viral on social media platform X. It has raised concerns about the safety of passengers on public buses in the city.

The video has 147,800 views at the time of reporting. Users have shared the video widely, tagging authorities and demanding action to ensure the safety of commuters. A user commented, “The people of Delhi are stupid and I will not say anything more, if the entire crowd could not beat up the miscreant, then at least they could have stopped him. Instead, they made that innocent boy get down to get beaten up badly. The driver should have locked the gate switch and parked the car directly at the police station.”

Another user wrote, “In Delhi government, the police is under the control of the centre, so the central government should pay attention. The leaders have no time to do anything because of election rallies. The people of Delhi have been left at the mercy of pickpockets and goons instead of the police.”

A third user questioned, “Were all the people in the bus cowards? What is the bus number and where did this happen? What was the home guard of this bus doing? What were the CCTV cameras of the bus doing? Can’t you throw these pickpockets on the road?”

The comments section strongly criticised the government for its perceived lax grip and lenient laws regarding such acts.
