Bara Imambara of Lucknow is quite popular. Also called Bhool Bhulaiya colloquially, the building has 84 stairs that lead to its roof. These stairs lead down a direction that could confuse someone, making it impossible for an individual to get lost in and out. This is why this maze-like structure is called Bhool Bhulaiya. However, do you know about Rajasthan’s Bhool Bhulaiya? There is a place in Bhilwara that is nothing less than a maze and even Google Maps fails to help you.
The roads in Bhilwara city, specifically from Gul Mandi to Mangala Chowk and Rawla Chowk, are extremely narrow. Once someone enters this area, navigating through these cramped streets becomes challenging. The narrow pathways and intricate turns often lead to confusion, making it easy for individuals to lose their way.
Mohammad Akram, residing in the Gul Mandi area, highlighted the difficulty faced in this locality due to the absence of easily accessible mobile networks and non-functional Google Maps once on the streets. Approximately 8 to 10 narrow streets in this vicinity pose a significant challenge, with limited width. The congestion is so severe that when two motorcycles attempt to traverse these streets simultaneously, they often become stuck, making it impractical for larger vehicles or cars to navigate through.
Moreover, all the streets look the same and one can be stuck going around the same street in circles like a maze before they figure their way out. The streets of Bhilwara city between Gul Mandi to Mangala Chowk and Rawla Chowk are so narrow that if a person unfamiliar with the streets reaches here, they will not be able to get out easily.
Bhilwara, a well-known industrial town in Rajasthan, is frequently called the ‘Textile City of India.’ Situated in the western region of Rajasthan, Bhilwara has excellent transport links with all of India’s main cities. Bhilwara is now a well-known and significant producer, exporter, and supplier of premium suits, flock fabrics and yarn.
