An adorable video of a man accompanying his Pakistani dad and Indian father-in-law for a T20 World Cup 2024 fixture is winning hearts on social media. India recently faced Pakistan in New York and emerged victorious by six runs. Days after the game, a Pakistani content creator named Reza Khan shared a video on Instagram featuring some hilarious banter between his dad and father-in-law at Nassau County in New York on the matchday. Sharing a video in two parts, Reza said it was the first time that his dad and father-in-law were going to witness a live match between India and Pakistan at the stadium. “The wildest day ever”, Reza wrote.

In the first video, Reza Khan could be seen asking his father-in-law how he was feeling about the game. Donning the Indian jersey, he replied, “I am feeling fantastic because India is going to win.” Reza’s dad could not help but add, “In your dreams.” After reaching the stadium, the trio could be seen cheering for their respective teams. Gradually, the father-in-law fell silent as India lost early wickets.

Just before the first half’s end, Reza’s father-in-law was quick to remind the duo that the match was not over. It ultimately turned out to be true as India pulled off a solid comeback during the run chase to seal an unbelievable victory in New York, stunning both Reza and his father. The win sparked a loud cheer from Reza’s father-in-law. After the match, the two elderly persons could be seen sharing a hug.
