Video: Couple Gets Into Aggressive Fight Inside Dwarka Family Court

While a court is usually a place where people go and seek justice, the scenes inside the premises often transcend more than just dramatic exchanges between the judges, the lawyers, and the involved parties. There are various instances of misconduct and instant violence that have gone beyond expectations, thus hampering the decorum of the lawful institution. In a recent video going viral, a tense confrontation between two parties was witnessed at Delhi’s Dwarka Family Court, sparking a debate on the internet.

The incident took place inside the court premises after a man and woman – who seemed like a couple – got into a heated verbal argument, which further got physical. While the location is said to be at the family court, the date of the incident is not confirmed.

In the video, the said woman can be seen charging towards the man and threatening him. While many tried to intervene, the man in a quick retaliation ended up slapping brutally in a public scene. Later, another woman can be seen intervening, seemingly arguing with the woman. As the argument between both parties continued to escalate, many gathered around watching as mere spectators.

As soon as the video was shared, netizens flooded the comment box with mixed reactions. A user wrote, “You are feeling bad for the girl who is saying “mere papa ko hath mat lagana”. Then she saw her father hitting her mother, and she pushed her again and again. Sorry, but I am feeling bad for the lady,” while another one commented, “Doesn’t matter who is wrong, nobody should behave like this in public.”

“The lady needs to contemplate leaving vengeance. Even the daughter is against her,” a person noted, while a fourth one said, “The woman abused the man hysterically and then approached him for a physical confrontation, and the man gave her a slap. The *girl* (perhaps their daughter) tried to restrain the woman. It may have been embarrassing for the girl.”

The video has gained over 70,000 views on the internet, with hundreds of comments and retweets.

Lawyers Get Into A Brawl Inside Court

Another such incident was witnessed a year back at the Dwarka District Court where a group of lawyers were seen hitting each other.

Shared on an X handle, the video caught the attention of many people, with some also testifying about witnessing the incident in front of their eyes.
