A man from Indore named Satish Salve has been stressed after his bike was stolen on June 4 from the parking lot of the Veda Business Park. The footage of the thief stealing his bike is captured on CCTV cameras but still, the police authorities have not been able to apprehend him. Now, Satish has written a letter to that thief and posted it on social media. The Indore man wrote, “Respected thief sir, please return my bike to me. You have been caught on camera stealing it. I am a small employee, and I bought the bike with my life’s earnings. My son is crying about travelling on the bike and has stopped eating and drinking. It is because he used to travel on this bike every day.”
Satish also wrote to the thief that he is the sole breadwinner of his family and has to shoulder the responsibility of the family alone. According to Satish, he works in a private company and earns a meagre income of Rs 8,000. Also, his father is not there to support him. The Indore man also added that he has no money left to buy another bike. He concluded the letter hoping that the thief would understand his problems and return the bike.
As of now, there has been no progress in this case. However, he still believes that the police will arrest the thief, recover the bike and hand it over to him. In an alternate scenario, as per Satish’s opinion, if the thief ever reads this letter and there is a change in his heart, he will return the bike. The bike’s number plate is MP09QK178. As visible in the CCTV footage, the thief waited for enough time before stealing Satish’s two-wheeler. He then rode the bike and didn’t attract any suspicion from the onlookers as well. It is evident from the footage that a girl is standing in the parking lot and fiddling with his phone. For a moment, the girl saw the man driving away with the bike but, she didn’t raise any alarm regarding this.
