Manu Bhaker stole the show with a ramp walk for the Marks & Spencer runway in a black bodycon sleeveless dress.

Indian Olympic shooter Manu Bhaker has hit back at trolls who criticised her recent appearance at the Lakme Fashion Week 2024. Manu sent fans into a frenzy as she walked a Marks & Spencer runway in a black bodycon sleeveless dress.

Known for her precision on the shooting range, Manu Bhaker complemented her performance on the ramp by giving an air-gun-styled pose, symbolising her Olympic performances. The moment quickly became popular on social media platforms, receiving praise and criticism.

In response to the reactions online, Manu wrote, “Wow, thank you guys for some good words. Also, quite some haters I see. I just wanted to say, don’t limit yourself to anything, make your life big, your career shiny and your parents proud. Haters will hate, lovers will love, you do you. Have your morale high and make your own way, in your own style. There’s no shortcut to things, but why do easy things when good gave you strength to do difficult. Cheers.”

A critic wrote, “She has become too much drama.”

Another comment read, “Manu Bekaar”.

“Overrated”, read a comment.

However, there were also others who dropped positive comments for the star shooter. One such user wrote, “Champion of India”.

“She carried herself very well,” read a reply.

Manu Bhaker, who scripted history by winning two bronze medals at the Paris Olympics 2024, earlier posted a video of her strutting on the stage with a caption that read, “Locked, Loaded and Runway- ready with M&S Bringing in the BigAutumnEnergy!”

The 22-year-old shooter became the first Indian woman to win multiple medals in a single edition of the Olympics with her performance in Paris earlier this year.

Manu bagged the first medal for the country in Paris as she clinched the bronze in the women’s 10m air pistol individual category event. She doubled her tally as she repeated the same score in a 10m mixed team air pistol event along with Sarabjit Singh.
