Apple Intelligence to Hearing Aid: Top Trending Searches on Google India After iPhone 16 Launch Event
While many Googled about iPhone 16 and its price in India, others were curious about the new Apple Intelligence feature that the tech giant launched.

Apple fans eagerly wait for September every year as the company hosts its annual launch event, where it introduces the latest innovations in technology, from iPhones to Apple Watches and MacBooks. The event draws millions of viewers who are keen to see what groundbreaking features and upgrades Apple has in store. Whether it’s a redesign, a new camera placement, or a faster chip, this event has become a tradition for tech enthusiasts and Apple loyalists alike. As Apple hosted its Glowtime Event 2024 at its Cupertino Park, California on September 9, users flocked to Google to search for terms like “Apple Intelligence,” “hearing aid features,” and the newly unveiled iPhone 16.

A section of Internet users, who are probably interested in buying the newly-launched phone, began converting dollars in rupees, leading to trending searches like “999 dollars in rupees” and “899 dollars in rupees”.

During the launch, the company launched the new iPhone 16 at $799 and iPhone 16 Plus at $899. But the prices in the US and India for iPhones are different. However, prices in India differ from those in the US. According to Apple’s official website, the iPhone 16 is priced at ₹79,900 in India, while the iPhone 16 Plus costs ₹89,900.

Some users are searching whether Apple Intelligence is free and when it would be available. Many, who have iPhone 15, searched if this feature will be available for them.

Apple Intelligence will be available for free on the iPhone 16 series, iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, and devices equipped with M1 chips and later. A portion of Apple Intelligence features will roll out next month, with additional updates expected in the coming months.

Apple explained the technology on its website, stating, “Apple Intelligence is the personal intelligence system that combines the power of generative models with personal context to deliver intelligence that is incredibly useful and relevant.”

Many also looked up for newly-launched AirPods 4 that comes with an array of features and AirPods Pro 2 that is integrated with hearing aid features.

Apple launched two variants of AirPods 4: the standard model and one with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). Both will be available in stores starting September 20, with pre-orders now open.

“With AirPods 4, customers can enjoy Active Noise Cancellation and the most advanced audio experience ever in an open-ear design,” said John Ternus, Apple’s senior vice president of Hardware Engineering.
