When he saw the cobra snake, he immediately called the forest department to capture it. The team from Agumbe Rainforest Research Station reached the spot. Before that, they explained to the locals over the phone what to do and what not to do until they arrived. After examining, they put the snake in a bag and then it was taken away and left in the forest.

Ajay Giri, the head of Agumbe Rainforest Research Station, recently shared the video of this rescue operation on his social media. In this video, you can see that the snake is sitting on a branch and hissing. The snake is 3 meters tall. While posting the video, Ajay Giri wrote, “A 12-foot king cobra was crossing the road, on seeing people, it went into the garden of a house to escape and sat on a tree”.

In the video, it is seen how a plan is made to capture the snake and how the people capture such a big snake with great courage. The viral video has received more than 5 lakh views and many people have given their feedback in the form of comments. One said that the snake looked very beautiful, thank you for rescuing it. In another incident, a king cobra was found at the farm of a local named Ramachandra Hegde, a resident of the Murur village, Kumta Taluk, Uttara Kannada. As per the information given, the discovery was shocking to many since the region’s environment is not suitable for snake habitation.
