New Delhi: Images of the LED notification feature which will be included in Microsoft's next OS- Windows 10 have been reportedly leaked online. The screenshots have been leaked from a Polish Windows enthusiast forum and reveal a number of changes in an upcoming preview of Windows 10 for phones, including some UI improvements and notification updates.
A report in The Verge stated that apps will soon be able to use sounds, vibrations, banners, and LEDs to notify users. BlackBerry and Android operating systems have their LED notifications in place; however, phones like Lumia730 and Lumia 930 will now be able to leverage this feature.
Recently, Microsoft had announced that it won't be rolling out new flagship devices till its latest Windows 10 is officially unveiled later this year.
The company is further tweaking some of the OS features that would allow Windows 10 for phone users to remove the primary Microsoft Account on a handset without having to reset the device. Other improvements include UI that closely matches the desktop counterpart, improved context menus, new toggle menus, and circular user avatars instead of square versions.
