OnePlus 5 has certainly gained enough limelight right from the time of its rumours till the time it actually reached its customers. Yet, it seems like OnePlus is not ready to do away with the device so easily after launching it. In its recent posts on the various social media handles, OnePlus has now hinted at a new edition of OnePlus 5 with an all-new colour option. The image, first shared by OnePlus on its official Weibo account in China, shows the two currently available colour options of the OnePlus 5 alongside a transparent one. The image, later uploaded on the official OnePlus Facebook account, hints at ?Something New? that the smartphone giant is about to launch. Linkin the dots to previous rumours, the new OnePlus 5 variant may come in a Mint-Gold colour.
Apart from the colour variation, the specifications of the upcoming OnePlus 5 are expected to remain the same. The smartphone comes with a 5.5-inches AMOLED display, covered by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and is powered by the latest Snapdragon 835 processor. It runs the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS and comes in two memory options as stated above. The optics of the OnePlus 5 include a dual primary camera with a 16-megapixel sensor and a 20-megapixel telephoto sensor that come with features like Phase-detection Autofocus and dual-LED. There is also a 16-megapixel secondary camera with f/2.0 aperture. The smartphone runs on a 3,300 mAh battery and weighs 153 grams. The connectivity options on the OnePlus 5 include a Dual Nano-SIM and 4G LTE support.
