New Delhi: LG has sent out invites for its April 28 and 29 event in which it could unveil its next flagship G smartphone. The invite goes with the tagline, "See the Great. Feel the Great," with added emphasis on the alphabet 'G' as used in the company's G series of smartphones.
The two-day event in New York, London, Paris, Seoul, Singapore, and Istanbul, could see the release of the smartphone. A report in The Verge noted that this time the invitation is etched on a notebook.
The next flagship device is rumoured to be named G4 and include a 5-inch curved quad HD display.
The electronics manufacturer had rolled out its G3 smartphones last May after sending a similar invite. The LG G3 features a 5.5-inch quad HD display with 538ppi, which the company says is four times the resolution of HD and almost two times higher resolution than a full HD display.
Whether the next G smartphone takes on the same design elements and specs as its predecessor or surprises us, we will have to wait for that when the launch day arrives.
