iPhone SE 4 To Launch On September 9 With iPhone 16 Series? Why Apple Has No Reason To Do It
Apple iPhone 16 launch event is next week where we will see the new Apple Watch models and AirPods but will we see the iPhone SE as well?

Apple iPhone 16 series will be announced at the Glowtime event on September 9 where we will also see the new Apple Watch models and even the AirPods. But could Apple introduce the new iPhone SE 4 model at the same launch event as well?

New reports claim the existing stock of the iPhone SE 3 model are running low with retailers which seem to have been linked with the possible advanced launch timeline for the iPhone SE 4 version to be as early as this year. But could it be possible that Apple will launch its so-called affordable iPhone model along with the premium peers?

There are many reasons to consider this as a no-go for the company. Firstly, Apple wants to showcase its AI chops and for that it needs people to be convinced about spending big on the shiny, new iPhone 16 models.

Second, Apple has a dry run in the early part of the year as the sales of the iPhone models subside. So, launching the iPhone SE 4 in early 2025 will give it more traction, rather than try to eat into the share and demand for the iPhone 16 and 16 Pro models launching this month.

Not The Right Time

That’s not all, with the news that the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus models will not get any of the upcoming AI features but will be coming to the iPhone SE 4, Apple has a greater impetus to keep the model in the back burner and ensure that the higher-value iPhones garner higher sales for the company, which is critical for its own AI ambitions in the market.

And there are very good reasons for people to be excited about the next iPhone SE model. The iPhone SE 4 or the 2025 models could feature a modern design with a wide notch and possibly support Face ID.

The new model will also support AI features from Apple, which suggests the new model could be powered by the A17 Pro or the A18 chipset. It remains to be seen if the high-end AI features will come to the device but people will surely find the rumoured iPhone SE 4 model appealing if it can pack the said features and offered in an iPhone 14-like design. These upgrades will take a hit on the starting price of the SE model and we expect the range to get closer to Rs 60,000 when it launches in the market.
