Two big sales are on their way right before the Independence Day by two of the E-commerce giants in India. Amazon and Flipkart have recently announced their respective pre-Independence Day sales – The Great Indian Sale and The Big Freedom Sale. The sales are set to go live on August 9, starting 12 am.
As for Flipkart’s Big Freedom Sale, smartphones, TVs, Electronics and more such products will see a discount during the sale. Flipkart is also offering a minimum discount of 70 percent on some of its product under the category ‘Largest Democracy, Legendary Deals’. Buyers can avail an additional 10 percent cash back upon using HDFC Bank debit and credit cards. Flipkart has also put up a 72 hours Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Sale on its website, along with an extra Rs 1,000 off as an exchange offer.
Rival Amazon India is offering up to 35 percent off on mobile phones and up to 40 percent off on Power banks, headphones and Bluetooth headsets in its Great Indian Sale. Other electronic appliances will be available at a discount of up to 50 percent. The sale sees maximum discount of up to 70 percent on Fashion and Home and Kitchen Appliances. Additionally, Amazon is offering a 15 percent cashback on payments through Amazon Pay and SBI Debit and Credit cards on the app and 10 percent on the website. There will also be Prime exclusive deals for Amazon Prime members during the Amazon Great Indian Sale.
Both the Amazon and Flipkart sales will last till 11:59 pm on August 11.
