The RJD supremo's elder son had mispronounced the word 'apekshit' (expected) as 'upekshit' (neglected) while taking oath as a senior minister in the Nitish Kumar government on November 20.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's close confidante Vijay Chaudhary is pitted as front-runner for the post of Speaker.

Interestingly, the man who used to be Nitish's arch rival, Lalu Prasad Yadav, will now be next to the Chief Minister.

The Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) will be shoring up its strategy to tackle the Opposition in the winter session which will begin from November 26.

The Grand Alliance routed the BJP in assembly elections, the results of which were announced on Sunday. The RJD emerged as the single largest party with 80 assembly seats, followed by the JD-U with 71 and the Congress with 27 seats.

According to sources, the swearing-in ceremony will take place after Chhat Puja and is likely on November 20.

Counting of votes polled for 243 assembly seats will begin at 8 am and the first trends will be available from 9 am onwards, sources in the Bihar chief electoral officer's office said.

He will be addressing two public rallies in Srinagar and will also inaugurate the second phase of the Baglihar hydel project.

Bihar has voted in its toughest political battle and the results are set to be declared on November 8.
