172. Pratapgarh is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Rajasthan and is part of Chittorgarh Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Pratapgarh falls in Pratapgarh district and South region of Rajasthan. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 2,34,527 voters in the seat, which includes 1,17,309 male voters, and 1,17,218 female voters. In the 2018 Rajasthan elections, Pratapgarh recorded a voter turnout of 82.01%. In 2013 the turnout was 81.89%, and in 2008 it was 72.5%.
In 2013, Nandlal Meena of BJP won the seat by a margin of 31,938 votes (19.06%). Nandlal Meena secured 49.21% of the total votes polled.
