18. Nizamabad (Rural) is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Telangana and is part of Nizamabad Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Nizamabad (Rural) falls in Nizamabad district and North Telangana region of Telangana. It is categorised as a rural seat.

In 2014, Goverdhan Baji Reddy of TRS won the seat by a margin of 26,547 (15.81%). Goverdhan Baji Reddy secured 46.52% of the total votes polled.
