34. Medak is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Telangana and is part of Medak Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Medak falls in Medak district and North Telangana region of Telangana. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 1,78,374 voters in the seat, which includes 86,244 male voters, and 92,125 female voters. In the 2018 Telangana elections, Medak recorded a voter turnout of %. In 2014 the turnout was 77.7%.
In 2014, M Padma Devender Reddy of TRS won the seat by a margin of 39,600 (25.02%). M Padma Devender Reddy secured 56.64% of the total votes polled.
