Rane is apparently disgruntled as none of his aides have been included in the Cabinet expansion.
Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan's decision to expand the Cabinet by inducting Congress leaders Amit Deshmukh and Abdul Sattar has reportedly not gone down well with state Minister Narayan Rane.
Rane, the Industries Minister in Maharashtra Cabinet is upset with Chavan, say sources. He has also conveyed his unhappiness over the functioning of the state party unit to Congress high command.
Rane is apparently disgruntled as none of his aides have been included in the Cabinet expansion. The Maharashtra Cabinet has been expanded twice in the recent past. Monday's exercise is most likely to be the last ministerial expansion of the Congress-NCP government, whose third term in office ends in four months.
