174. Kumbhalgarh is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Rajasthan and is part of Rajsamand Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Kumbhalgarh falls in Rajsamand district and South region of Rajasthan. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 2,04,242 voters in the seat, which includes 1,05,336 male voters, and 98,906 female voters. In the 2018 Rajasthan elections, Kumbhalgarh recorded a voter turnout of 67.08%. In 2013 the turnout was 71.85%, and in 2008 it was 68.4%.
In 2013, Surendra Singh Rathore of BJP won the seat by a margin of 27,606 votes (21.07%). Surendra Singh Rathore secured 56.03% of the total votes polled.
INC won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 4,174 votes (3.81%), registering 45.87% of the total votes polled.
