JDU forced Congress to go back on ordinance on convicted leaders: RJD

New Delhi: The political battle over the ordinance to protect convicted legislators has started against after former Bihar chief minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad was found guilty in a fodder scam case.

An agitated RJD has accused the Congress for coming under pressure from the JDU on the ordinance which is most likely to be withdrawn.

Senior RJD leader and Lok Sabha MP Raghuvansh Prasad Singh on Monday met Lalu in Ranchi's Birsa Munda jail and then claimed that the Congress decided to bring an ordinance to negate the Supreme Court ruling after an all-party meet but later on backtracked under JDU's pressure.
