The show will premiere in America on September 27 and will be available to the Indian audience from the first week of October. We list five top reasons why 'Quantico' is creating a buzz.
To be aired in nine countries
'Quantico' is one of the few shows which will get a window simultaneously in nine prominent countries, at the same time. Besides USA, UK and Canada, this is one of the few shows which will simultaneously be aired in Australia, Singapore, Middle East, South Africa and Brazil. Star struck Indians settled in these countries are awaiting Priyanka’s entry on small screen.
Priyanka’s international appeal
After launching her musical career with Universal Musical Group (UMG), Priyanka takes a leap by playing an FBI trainee Alex Parrish. Her musical gigs In My City, Exotic and I Can’t Make You Love Me on iTunes revealed her musical talent. The show, she believes will confirm her position in the international market and might make a way into Hollywood.
Pride of American diaspora
An Indian face starring as a lead in an American show is surely a matter of pride for the NRIs. Ever since the huge billboards and poster of 'Quantico' with Priyanka Chopra’s face prominently peeping out were put up on the corners of busy roads of Chicago and New York, her NRI fans are profusely tweeting about it. Priyanka’s poster in Washington DC Metro subway, prompted former Indian Ambassador to USA, Nirupama Rao tweet about it.
Competition from other hit shows
Quantico is one of the top 12 most anticipated shows that will be aired this fall season. The other prominent shows that will be aired in the same season includes TV version of Bradley Cooper’s 'Limitless', 'Crazy Ex Girlfriend', 'The Man In The High Castle', 'Minority Report', 'The Muppets' and more. All these shows will give a tough competition to 'Quantico'.
