Even as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has expressed happiness at the results of the recently concluded Bihar Legislative Council elections, senior leader Shatrughan Sinha has a word of caution for the party.
According to the actor-turned-politician, the BJP should not be much happy about the legislative council poll results as they have effectively not been in favour of anyone, adding that these elections are different from the upcoming Assembly polls.
The former Union minister further said that the duo of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav was a strong one, as both the leaders were "tested".
Sinha advised the BJP to formulate a strategy for the Bihar Assembly polls, keeping into consideration the "strong base" of both Lalu and Nitish.
Responding a query on when he would begin the poll campaign in Bihar, the senior BJP leader gave a quirky reply, saying that question would arise only after he is called by the party to campaign. Sinha added that as per his information, all senior leaders, except him, had already been approached for the same.
He, however, dismissed a question on being a CM candidate for Bihar. "I neither have a face nor brain, who will make me a chief minister?" said Sinha.
