Digvijay Singh snubbed senior Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh.

New Delhi: The Congress is indicating an end to its ties with the Samajwadi Party.

In a clear snub to senior Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh, Congress leader Digvijay Singh said on Wednesday that the Congress has never influenced the CBI.

He said Mulayam Singh Yadav should keep his personal issues separate from politics.

“Congress does not interfere in CBI’s working. It would be nice if Mulayam Singh keeps his personal issues away from politics,” Digvijay Singh said.

The Congress and the SP is already engaged in a public spat over the accommodation of Kalyan Singh.

Reacting to the Congress’ stand that Kalyan Singh would hurt the secular image of the party, Mulayam Singh Yadav had on Sunday said that Congress was responsible for the demolition of the Babri Masjid.
