New Delhi: The BJP on Friday demanded a CBI probe into the alleged irregularities by AAP mentioned in the Shunglu Committee report that has accused the Delhi government of abuse of power and nepotism in making appointments.
It also said that Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) also can take up the matter owing to nature of the accusations.
Lekhi added that the AAP government has cheated the people of Delhi and looted the public exchequer.
Vijender Gupta, leader of opposition in the Delhi Assembly, alleged that the Cabinet approved proposals without proper scrutiny.
The report questioned the appointment of Soumya Jain, daughter of Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain, as an adviser to Mission Director of Mohalla Clinic project, which has won global praise for providing free healthcare.
