The Janata Dal United (JDU) on Friday denied tickets for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections to two MLAs, Munna Shahi and Satyanand Satyarthi. Shahi is the sitting MLA from Barbigha while Satyarthi represents Munger constituency in the Assembly.
This comes even as Dadan Pahalwan is set to join the JDU at the party headquarters in Patna. He is expected to formally join the JDU at 4 pm on Friday.
Meanwhile, the party has assured a ticket to Ramanand Mandal from Lakhisarai seat and Gopal Mandal from Bhagalpur.
Tickets for the Assembly polls were also given to Poonam Devi from Khagaria, Ram Balak Singh from Bibhutipur and Manju Verma from Cheria Bariarpur. They were allotted the tickets at the residence of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
