New Delhi: Digvijaya Singh kicked off another controversy after he supported tainted former CWG Chief Suresh Kalmadi. The Congress General Secretary came in for some sharp criticism by anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare on this issue.
Hazare said that Singh should be admitted in a mental hospital for making such statements.
"Digivijaya Singh should be admitted to mental hospital," said Hazare.
Singh came out in support for Ashok Chavan and Suresh Kalmadi saying that he was sad that Chavan lost his post as the Chief Minister and that Kalmadi is suffering so much.
"I am sad that Ashok Chavan had to lose his Chief Minister's chair, I am upset that Suresh Kalmadi has to suffer such troubles now. But personally I am confident that Chavan and Kalmadi are innocent and both will come out clean," Singh said.
