New Delhi: Gujarat Chief Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi on Sunday met party President Rajnath Singh. The meeting takes place after Modi addressed his rally in Rewari, Haryana.
Former Army chief VK Singh and Olympic gold medalist Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore also shared the dais with Modi, where he was addressing the rally of Army personnel
Even while Modi is anointed as the BJP prime ministerial candidate, party patriarch LK Advani has openly opposed the decision and had even skipped the crucial party Parliamentary meet on Friday.
Efforts were also being made by the senior party leaders to placate the sulking leader. Rajnath, Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley and Ravi Shankar Prasad had also the veteran leader and discussed the issue.
