West Bengal Man Comes to Delhi to Buy Apples, Gets Kidnapped By Friend For Rs 3 Lakh
A West Bengal man was kidnapped by his friend after he came to Delhi just to buy apples. Here is what happened.

In what comes as a bizarre incident, a 31-year-old businessman named Babloo Yadav, hailing from West Bengal, was kidnapped by his friend after he visited Delhi to buy apples. According to reports, the friend allegedly extorted a ransom of about Rs 3 lakh before releasing him. It all started when Yadav arrived in Delhi from Siliguri’s Bagdogra Airport. He had come to the capital to buy apples from the very much known Azadpur Mandi.

He was then picked up from the airport in a taxi sent by his friend Ajay. He was dropped at Sector-21 in Dwarka. News agency PTI reported that Ajay then took Yadav to an isolated flat. One of his associates was already present.

On the next day, four more of Ajay’s accomplices came to the flat and forcibly took Yadav to an isolated dairy firm in Bahadurgarh. They threatened Yadav and demanded ransom money to set him free. This is when Yadav was forced to call his relatives and send them Rs 2.7 lakh through different five UPI IDs.

He was also warned about reaching out to the police but he anyway did. He has filed a complaint. As of now, three people have been arrested in the case.

In another incident of scam, a 60-year-old Bengaluru man lost Rs 82 lakh after he was cheated in a sex scandal by two women. This man happens to be a retired state government employee and he lost the money to 40-year-old Reena Annamma and 30-year-old Sneha. The police complaint states that he was introduced to Annamma in April by a friend. The 60-year-old was then asked to help the woman as her son was suffering from cancer. On this day, the man and the woman met at a hotel and he gave her Rs 5,000. Also, later, she borrowed some more money from him.
