UGC NET December 2023: NTA has provided an opportunity for candidates to correct any errors in their application forms up till November 3

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will open the application correction window for the UGC NET (University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test) in December 2023 today, November 1. NTA has provided an opportunity for candidates to correct any errors in their application forms up till November 3. Candidates can edit their particulars on the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

“Information provided by the candidates in their respective online Application Forms, like, name of candidate, contact/ address details, category, PwD status, educational qualification details, date of birth, choice of exam cities, etc. will be treated as final. Any request for change in such particulars after the closure of correction period will not be considered by NTA under any circumstances,” reads the official notice.

The UGC NET December 2023 session is scheduled to take place from December 6 to December 22. The admit card and city slip details will be released at a later date.

UGC NET December 2023: How to Edit Application Correction Window

Step 1. Go to the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

Step 2. Look for the “UGC-NET December 2023 (Correction Window)” link on the homepage.

Step 3. Provide your application number, password, and security pin

Step 4. Click on the sign-in option.

Step 5. Proceed to make the necessary changes in your UGC NET application form.

Step 6. Double-check all the details for accuracy before submitting.

Step 7. Once you are satisfied, submit the corrected UGC NET application form.

Step 8. Download the confirmation page and make a hard copy for your records.

Candidates will have three hours duration to answer a total of 150 multiple-choice questions in UGC NET December 2023. The exam is held for candidates aspiring to be eligible for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) across universities and colleges in India.

The application process for the exam concluded on October 31. Previously, the last date to apply for the UGC NET December 2023 was set as October 29. However, the NTA, recognising the need to accommodate more candidates, decided to grant an extension.
