Spanish Man Inappropriately Touches Reporter on Live Television, Arrested

A Spanish man was arrested after he inappropriately touched a Spanish TV journalist while she was reporting live in Madrid. Recognised as Isa Balado, the journalist was reporting on a robbery in Madrid for channel Cuatro. This is when a man entered the frame and put his hands on her. He was trying to ask her what channel she worked for. “Isa, sorry to interrupt, did they just touch your butt?” her colleague in the studio asked.

“Yes,” said Balado. She then turned to the man and asked “as much as you want to ask us which channel we work for, do you really have to touch my ass?”

The man refused to admit that he did anything wrong and walked away while touching her hair. A few seconds later, he approached her again while she was live on air and said she should ”tell the truth”. The video did not only cause outrage in Spain but has become a topic of discussion globally. Madrid police has arrested the man for sexually assaulting a reporter live on air.

The anchor belongs to a Bihar and Jharkhand-based media outlet. She is now receiving backlash for laughing on live television while reporting such a serious situation. The blunder came into notice when ‘X’ user ‘Sanjay Tripathi’ shared the video on the micro blogging platform. Within some time, the video went viral and caught attention from a lot of people.
