The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has postponed the last date to submit the application form for the Class 10, 11, and 12 board exams 2024. Students will be able to register for the JKBOSE 2024 board exams on the official website of the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education at jkbose.nic.in. It is further to be noted that class 10 students have until December 20, and classes 11 and 12 have until December 16, to register for the exams without a late fee.
As per the official notification on the website, the registration link for submission of renewal forms will remain closed from December 17 to December 22. Candidates need to pay a fee of Rs 210 as renewal registration returns for classes 11 and 12, and the deadline for the same is December 22, 2024.
JKBOSE Class 10, 11, 12 Exams 2024: Exam Form Without Late Fee
Class 10 candidates with five compulsory subjects are required to pay Rs 1,120, whereas candidates with additional or optional subjects have to pay Rs 1,320 until December 20.
Classes 11, and 12 candidates with five compulsory subjects will have to pay an application fee of Rs 1,300, while for candidates with additional or optional subject(s) 5+, the fee is Rs 1,530. It is to be noted by the candidates that the link to register shall remain open until December 16, and it will again be open from December 23 to December 27.
JKBOSE Class 10, 11, 12 Exams 2024: Exam Form With Late Fee
Class 10 candidates will have to pay Rs 735 as a late fee until December 25. This means the total fee for the first count of five days for five subjects amounts to Rs 1,855, and for more than five subjects, the fee is Rs 2,055.
For the second count of five days for five subjects, Class 10 students will have to pay a late fee of Rs 1,120 + Rs 1,890, which adds to a total of Rs 3,010, and for more than five subjects, the late fee is Rs 1,320 + Rs 1,890, which means Rs 3,210. Candidates should note that the deadline set to submit the late fee is December 30.
Talking about Classes 11 and 12, the late fee for the first count of five days for five subjects is Rs 735, which amounts to Rs 2,035, and for more than five subjects, it amounts to Rs 2,265 after the addition of the late fee. The last date to pay the fee is January 1, 2024.
For the second count of five days for five subjects, Class 11, and 12 students will have to pay Rs 1,300 + Rs 1,890, which means Rs 3,190 as a fee, and for more than five subjects, it is Rs 1,530 + Rs 1,890, which equals Rs 3,420 till January 6.
JKBOSE Class 10, 11, 12 Exams 2024: How To Complete Exam Form Registration
Step 1: Candidates can go to the official website of JKBOSE at jkbose.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the Class 10, 11, and 12 exam form submission links on the webpage
Step 3: Login using the essential credentials required and proceed with the registration form
Step 4: Fill in all the necessary details as directed and submit the application
Step 5: Save a copy of the application for future use.
Furthermore, students must obtain at least 33 per cent in general English and 36 per cent in each remaining subject to pass the Jammu and Kashmir Board Class 12th exams in 2024. In addition to that, the duration of the JK Board Class 12 examination is 3 hours. The class 12 board exams will begin in the first week of March and the class 10 exams in the second week of March.
