Wake Up Sid 2 Happening? Ranbir Kapoor, Konkana Sen Sharma Reunite For Special Shoot; Video Goes Viral

Ranbir Kapoor and Konkana Sen Sharma have sparked Wake Up Sid 2 reunion rumours after a video of them together went viral. Ranbir and Konkana came together after almost 15 years for a special shoot. A video has surfaced online showing the actors on sets, reharsing a scene while the crew surrounded them. Ranbir was seen wearing a blue shirt with a pair of white pants while Konkana slipped in a white kurta with a blue dupatta and pair of white pants.

The video has left fans excited. “Don’t give me hopes,” a fan wrote. “Oh my god… ❤️ Best news to start 2024✨,” added another. “Just today early morning was re backing the songs of wake up sid ..Good news,” a third user said. “Omg can’t wait. Wake Up Sid was released in 2009. The film was one of Ranbir’s initial movies of his career and was one of his biggest hits. The coming-of-age film follows the journey of a spoilt brat who learns to live his life independently with the help of a journalist who has just moved to Mumbai. The film marked Ayan Mukerji’s first film.

Meanwhile, Ranbir and Konkana have had a memorable 2023. Ranbir had two hits — Tu Jhooti Main Makkaar with Shraddha Kapoor and Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Animal emerged as Ranbir’s biggest hit of his career. On the other hand, Konkana had everyone’s attention with Lust Stories 2. She directed the film The Mirror for the anthology film. The film starred Tillotama Shome and Amruta Subhash in the lead. Their performances were also praised.
