During the conversation, Tridha shares her Diwali traditions, saying, “Dhanteras is a festival which I celebrate religiously. I believe buying gold, silver, and diamonds on this day brings in luck and signifies wealth and prosperity,” she adds.

She further informs that she also does Lakshmi Puja at home on this day. This year Tridha is planning to invest in a solitaire.

“I’ll be in Kolkata during Bhai Phonta this year. My brothers are students in the UK but I’ll celebrate it with my cousins. I have already chalked out what I’m going to eat when I’m in the city, for instance, mutton kosha cooked by my grandmother,” she further reveals her plans for the upcoming festival while revealing that two of her dearest friends are about to get married and she is eagerly waiting for the ceremonies.

Well, Tridha did not only talk about her friends’ wedding but also her own during this interview. While she talked about several other aspects of her life, what took the cake was her revelation about her relationship and wedding plans.

“I’m seeing someone from the industry but both of us believe in keeping things private. I can’t reveal much about my relationship but all I can say is both of us are in a happy space and we plan to get married in a gurdwara next year,” she informed.

Talking about the Diwali celebrations at her home, she said that she has started decorating her house for Diwali and already distributing gifts too. The actress informed that it is one of her favourite festivals.

Tridha will be in Delhi to celebrate the festival of lights and plans to wear a heavily embroidered sharara gifted to her by a special someone.

Though Tridha said that she is very fond of travelling and exploring various corners of the world, but there’s no place quite like Kolkata. The city’s warmth and its cuisine are unparalleled.

“Now that I live in Mumbai, I realised Kolkata’s simplicity can’t be found anywhere else. People develop strong connections in Kolkata,” she explains.

While sharing updates about her professional life, Tridha said that she’s received numerous project offers in Bengali cinema, but her prior commitments have prevented her from accepting any. “However, I’ll soon be seen essaying the character of a journalist in a Bengali web series. I’ll start dubbing for it soon,” she informed.
