Tamannaah Bhatia has come a long way in showbiz with rich content drivena and commercial films to her credit. The actress has created a niche for herself and is now one of the most bankable actresses in showbiz. However, with fame time and again, the actress had often been subjected to trolls and especially on social media. In a new interview the actress opened up on how she had learnt to overcome it with time.
While speaking to Luke Coutinho, the Baahubali actress was asked how she deals with the hate and critcism on social media. The actress stated that in her profession that it’s important for people to like what she does. She also added that ‘sometimes people write bad stuff about others on social media’.”…when that has happened to me, for the first moment it took me by a storm and I was very uncomfortable with it because it really made me feel like what’s going on? is something that I have done gone wrong?”
She further added that that she had this realisation that what people “are projecting towards you is not about you, it’s actually about them.” She shared, “So now, I have an option of either believing that that is me or I have an option of believing what I think is true about me. I think that’s the moment I felt that I have to just focus on becoming who I want to become and not be worried about what so many people think about me because A- they have never been on that journey, they have not lived my life, they have no idea about who I am. They are only talking from their level of understanding.”
On the work front, her latest outing with megastar Rajinikanth in the Telugu actioner Jailer was a massive hit at the box office. She also played a pivotal role in the Telugu film Bhola Shankar opposite Chiranjeevi and the Disney+ Hotstar web show Aakhri Sach. Currently, the actress has multiple projects in her kitty including Veda and Aranmanai 4.
