Hrithik Roshan on Monday released the first look character poster of his upcoming film Fighter. The film also stars Deepika Padukone in the lead role. This will be the first time both will be sharing the screen space. Well, as the poster was released, Hrithik’s girlfriend Saba Azad also shared her reaction. She took to her Instagram stories and dropped fire emojis.

Saba Azad shared the poster on her Instagram stories and wrote, “Go Patty” along with fire emojis. Taking to his social media, Hrithik Roshan shared the first look. Describing his character of Patty aka Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania, he captioned the photo, “Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania; Call Sign: Patty; Designation: Squadron Pilot; Unit: Air Dragons; Fighter Forever.” Fighter traces the journey of Hrithik Roshan as Patty becoming the best Fighter pilot of India.

This unveiling heralds the kickstart of an exhilarating cinematic ride, as Fighter gears up to embark on a mission to redefine action, blended flawlessly with patriotic fervour on the silver screen. The film also features the first-time pairing between Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone. Directed by Siddharth Anand and presented by Viacom18 Studios in collaboration with Marflix Pictures, the film is set to transcend boundaries with its stellar cast and gripping storyline.

The film’s release date is set for January 25, 2024 on the eve of India’s 75th Republic Day.

Meanwhile, it was being reported recently that the makers of Fighter have roped in the VFX company that had worked in Brahmastra. The company, Double Negative (DNEG), received a lot of appreciation for their work in the Ayan Mukerji directorial. A source close to the project told Pinkvilla that Fighter is an aerial action film, and the visual spectacle of those aerial action sequences will be a kind of experience for Indian audiences. “The team is clear to mount the film on a certain scale and hence, they have decided to rope in the best VFX company of India, who has also been rewarded multiple times at the Oscars,” the source said.
