MAMA 2023 Voting Open, Nominations OUT: How to Vote For Artist of the Year, Song of the Year

The highly anticipated Mnet’s MAMA 2023 Awards, the World’s No.1 K-POP Awards, is just around the corner, and it is set to take place on November 28 and 29. This year, the prestigious event will be held in the iconic Tokyo Dome in Japan, marking the first time the MAMA Awards will be held in the country as a domestic awards ceremony. K-pop enthusiasts will have the opportunity to connect with their favourite artists and as excitement builds, the nomination list is open for voting, here’s how you can pre-vote and get insights into the nominated artists.

To cast your vote for the 2023 MAMA Awards, follow these simple steps:

1 – Download and install the Mnet Plus App on your mobile device.

2 – Log in to your account if you already have one or create a new account.

3 – Go to the MAMA Awards 2023 Vote section. You can use the search for quick access.

4 – Select MAMA Awards 2023 Vote and you’ll see a list of nominees in various categories.

5 – From the list, choose your favourites for each category.

6 – Once you’ve selected your favourite artists, simply submit your votes.

In the pre-voting phase for the 2023 MAMA Awards, fans have been given time until October 30 to cast their votes. Later, the top 20 artists will be selected as nominees for the final round of voting, which will start on November 6 and will conclude on November 20. This is a critical period for fans to support their favourite artists and songs to ensure they secure a spot on the final list.

In the Best Male Group category, the nominees include EXO, NCT DREAM, SEVENTEEN, Stray Kids, TREASURE and TXT. On the other hand, the Best Female Group category features groups such as aespa, (G)I-DLE, IVE, LE SSERAFIM, NewJeans and TWICE.

The Best Male Artist nominees include Jimin, Jungkook, Lim Young Woong, Parc Jae Jung, Taeyang and V. While, the Best Female Artist category features Choi Ye Na, Hwasa, Jeon Somi, Jihyo, Jisoo and Lee Chae Yeon.

Meanwhile, the Song of the Year category for the 2023 MAMA Awards includes a diverse and extensive list of songs that made a major impact during their release. Some of the popular tracks include aespa’s Spicy, Agust D (Suga) with People Pt.2 (Feat. IU) and AKMU’s Love Lee. The list continues with Anne-Marie and Minnie’s Expectations, ASH ISLAND’s Goodbye (Feat. Paul Blanco), BIG Naughty’s Hopeless Romantic (Feat. Lee Suhyun) and BIG Naughty’s With Me from The Interest of Love OST. BSS (SEVENTEEN) brings Fighting (Feat. Lee Young Ji) into the mix, while BTOB contributes Wind And Wish. BTS is well represented with Take Two and The Planet from the BASTIONS OST.

The category also includes tracks like Dear My Light by DAWN, (G)I-DLE’s Queencard, Hwasa’s I Love My Body and IVE’s I AM. J-Hope’s On The Street (with J.Cole) and Jay Park’s Candy (Feat. Zion.T) are also included. Other featured tracks are Jeon Somi’s Fast Forward, Jihyo’s Killin’ Me Good and Jimin’s Like Crazy.

The Artist of the Year category for the 2023 MAMA Awards is filled with talented artists and the lineup includes ADYA, aespa, BOYNEXTDOOR, Choi Ye Na, EL7Z UP, EVNNE, and the iconic EXO. Adding to the star-studded list are (G)I-DLE, Hwasa, IVE and Jeon Somi. Jungkook, Jihyo, Jimin and Jisoo, renowned for their exceptional contributions are also contenders.

The category further features KISS OF LIFE, LE SSERAFIM, Lee Chae Yeon, Lim Young Woong, and LIMELIGHT, along with NCT DREAM, NewJeans, Parc Jae Jung, RIIZE, SEVENTEEN, Stray Kids and Taeyang. TREASURE, tripleS, TWICE, TXT, V, xikers and ZEROBASEONE complete the lineup of outstanding artists competing for the prestigious Artist of the Year trophy.
