Speculations were rife about the alleged breakup of Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor. Malaika, serving as a judge on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa alongside Farah Khan, dropped hints about her single status and expressed openness to remarriage in a recent episode. This development followed closely after her former husband, Arbaaz Khan, tied the knot with makeup artist Sshura Khan.
In a video shared by Sony TV, Farah asked Malaika, “In 2024, will you go from being a single parent cum actress to a double parent cum actress?” Malaika was confused by the question. “Should I take someone in my lap again? Was this mean?” she replied when Gauahar Khan stepped in and explained, “This means, are you going to get married?” Malaika said she is open to marrying anyone who asks for. “If there is someone then 100 percent I will get married,” Malaika said. “Koi hai nahi, bahut hai,” Farah assured her. Malaika said, “When I say koi hai, matlab koi puche shaadi ke liye, main kar lungi.” Farah asked her yet again, “Koi bhi puchega toh kar loge?” to which Malaika said yes. “Once bitten, twice very shy,” she added.
Although there hasn’t been an official statement from them about the breakup, there are rumours that Arjun is now dating Kusha Kapila. They were seen together at a party at Karan Johar’s house, and their pictures from the event went viral. However, Malaika and Arjun have been seen together on lunch and dinner dates, contradicting these breakup rumours.
