About Farrey

As for Farrey, the film delves into the complex world of academic deception, where a scholarship recipient, the orphaned genius Niyati, becomes unwittingly entangled in a high-stakes cheating racket orchestrated by her affluent peers. The film is directed by the visionary Soumendra Padhi and penned by Abhishek Yadav and Padhi.

It was reported earlier that Farrey will also be screened at the 54th International Film Festival of India in Goa alongside Kantara, Shershaah, and Sirf Ek Banda – the finest films of recent times, amongst other international gems.

Farrey Review

News18’s review of Farrey reads, “Despite being relatively fresh and new in the film business, the young actors prove their mettle with performances like seasoned artists. Alizeh makes a confident and the best debut this year so far and hits the right notes even in the emotionally heavier confrontational scenes. Her confidence and grace under the garb of borderline restraint as a lower-middle-class orphan trying to fit into the rich, cream world is impressive. This is an unconventional debut and Alizeh deserves applause for not defying the rules in the book and following her heart…”
