On Navaratri, Kangana Ranaut’s family got bigger. The actress became a proud bua to a baby boy. Sharing first photos of her new-born nephew from hospital, the actress penned a heartfelt note in Hindi that translated to, “Today on this blessed day our family is blessed with a child, my brother @aksht_ranaut and his wife @ritu_ranaut002 are blessed with a son.”
She also revealed the baby boy’s name. “We have named Akshwathama Ranaut (Ashwatthama Ranaut) this stunning and attractive boy. May you all bless our new family member, we share our infinite happiness with you all Thankful to you, The Ranaut family.”
In the photos, Kangana was seen holding her nephew in her arms. She donned one of her brightest smiles. The moments were indeed heartwarming. Now, the actress has shared photos from Gantrala, a small Pooja hosted by the family on the thirteenth day of the child’s birth. Sharing photos from the puja, wherein Kangana can be seen, kisssng the little one’s finger, she wrote, “n Himachal we have a tradition of Gantrala, a small Pooja hosted by the family on the thirteenth day of the child’s birth. It is Ashwatthama’s Gantrala today now he is free to go out of his house and meet the world.”
Meanwhile, having released on October 27, Kangana Ranaut’s Tejas received mixed reviews from the critics but the film has clearly failed to leave a mark at the box office. It earned merely a crore on its opening day and the lifetime collections are likely to be less than Rs 10 crores. Recently, several exhibitors from across the country also opened up about Tejas debacle and revealed that they have to cancel 50 per cent of their shows because of low occupancy.
