A demo version of Taylor Swift’s unreleased song titled Lucky You, which the singer wrote when she was 12 years old has once again found its way on the internet.

There remains no doubt that Taylor Swift is one of the raging pop singing sensations in the world. The American singer-songwriter has won hearts with her amazing music renditions, that become an instant earworm. Lately, she has bagged the reputation of being the most-streamed artist in a single day with the release of the reimagined version of her previous album 1989. This time it is called 1989 (Taylor’s Version). The fact that Taylor was a born star can be proven by the fact that she wrote her first song titled Lucky You at the age of 12. A demo version of the unreleased song has once again found its way onto the internet, grabbing eyeballs.

The video was dropped on Instagram by a user named Ish Cernechez who seemed to be a Swiftie (a term referring to Taylor Swift fans). “Young Taylor Swift sang the first song that she ever wrote,” read the caption. The video captured a young Taylor Swift, sporting her quintessential blonde hair interacting with the host. “This is the song I wrote yesterday and it is about a girl who is just different. And I really like it because it is just so happy,” she says in the video.

From the tune to the lyrics — each bore a significant resemblance to Taylor Swift’s personal song styles. Most of her tracks including Blank Space, Wildest Dreams, and Anti-Hero have always been a fusion of feminine and dark energy. Love, friendships, heartbreaks, and finding oneself are some of the major topics that her songs cater to, which resonate with millions across the globe. This video of a young Taylor Swift mixing all these feelings and emotions into her first-ever written song proves that she was born talented.

Taylor Swift fans were quick to mark their presence in the comment section, showering their love on their favourite artist. “She wrote it yesterday, I can’t even do my homework,” wrote one user jokingly. “She’s just so talented I don’t understand how some people say she’s overrated,” questioned another. “If Lucky You isn’t a vault track on Taylor Swift (Taylor’s Version) I will put Taylor out of the fandom,” hoped a third individual.

Taylor Swift recorded her first song titled Tim McGraw in the year 2006. The track became an instant success and took her to stardom. The 33-year-old bagged her first Grammy award when she was just 20 years old. So far, she has been honoured with 12 Grammy Awards.
