Vicky Kaushal is currently making waves on social media. Following the success of his recent film, Sam Bahadur, the actor is now gearing up for his next major project alongside Shah Rukh Khan in Dunki. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film also features Taapsee Pannu, Vikram Kochchar, and Boman Irani in significant roles.
In addition to his film ventures, the Sam Bahadur star is set to appear on the popular chat show Koffee With Karan 8 alongside Kiara Advani. During the show, when asked about his experience working with Shah Rukh Khan, Vicky Kaushal shared an interesting incident from the shoot.
In a candid chat on Koffee With Karan 8, Vicky Kaushal talked about working with Shah Rukh Khan. He recalled an incident during the shoot when SRK had to urgently go to Delhi for a crucial moment. As a result, Vicky had to film scenes with his body double. Subsequently, SRK insisted on a re-shoot, but Vicky persuaded him to review the sequence with the body double, and it turned out successful.
Vicky said, “During the shoot, Shah Rukh Khan had to rush to Delhi for a critical moment, and I had a shoot with him. I had to shoot it with a body double and it went okay. However, after completing his critical task in Delhi, he called me and told me that we would have to reshoot and I’d be there. I told him we had done it well, but he insisted that he would come back and shoot it. However, I requested him to see the shoot done with his body double, and then he was convinced it was done well,” Vicky shared during the show.
Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, Dunki also stars Boman Irani, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar and Anil Grover, besides Shah Rukh Khan. The trailer is out now.
