Animal, which has brought about a rampage at the box office in just a week since it’s release has also been embroiled in its fair share of criticism. People called out the makers for some of the problematic themes in the films. Reacting to the criticism against the film, Bobby Deol shared, “I am an actor who wants to play characters. I am not out there promoting anything. I do roles which challenge me. What is storytelling? Stories are influenced by what’s happening in our society. It’s just that people don’t want to talk about those things because they want to believe that doesn’t exist. I am just an actor trying to entertain. Box office collections itself says it that people are loving it.”
On the work front, Bobby Deol is preparing for his Tamil debut in the Suriya’s film. In an exclusive conversation with IndiaToday.in, the actor shared that his character in the Suriya-starrer goes beyond his usual comfort zone. The much-anticipated film Kanguva, directed by Siva and featuring Suriya, Bobby Deol, and Disha Patani, is set to release in 38 languages.
