We all know how much things can change in 10 years. Governments rise and fall, superstars are created while many shining ones disappear, especially in the world of Bollywood. Relations and friendships change in a speck of time. In the showbiz industry, friends become foes and foes become BFFs in no time.
Well, we got our hands on an award show video from early 2007, the year when 'Omkara' established Vishal Bhardwaj as an indespicable director. The year when, now a happy married couple, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, raided almost all the award ceremony winning accolades for their performances. 2007 was the year when Shahid Kapoor and Kareen Kapoor were the 'It' couple and Saif was just a co-actor.
In the video, Bebo is seen sitting beside her then-boyfriend Shahid and sister Karisma Kapoor. There's Saif Ali Khan on stage who, after accepting his own award, presents 'Best Actress' to Kareena after Rekha announces her name. One can easily sense the formality in the air as Saif gently pats Kareena on her back, instead of usual hugs and kisses in the air.
Looks like things took a turn from there and the cupid straightened it's bow to hit them both during 'Tashan'. Overall, the video made us nostalgic of that time and the people we shipped the most. Also sitting in the audience are another ex-couple Bipasha Basu and John Abraham.
The time has taken its course and both Kareena and Shahid are settled into their respective lives with their lovely better-halves. While a part of us still miss their out and about PDA together, we are elated with their current status and wish them all the happiness in the world.
