March 4 is being celebrated as the National Safety Day across India. The day focuses on the importance of road safety and how can one avoid accidents on streets. Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi decided to deliver the message about the importance of the day with a quirky post. The star shared a video on Instagram, where he can be seen impatiently waiting for omelet in his breakfast.
However, instead of omelet, he is served with a helmet. The video then flashes the message, “Cracks Eggs Not Heads.” He accompanied his post with the hashtags, #NationalSafetyDay #SadakSuraksha #RoadSafety #WearHelmet #CrackEggsNotHeads #SaathiyaOfSafety, urging people to wear helmet every time they step out on a two-wheeler.

Interestingly, this comes a few days after the actor was fined for riding around the roads of Mumbai on his bike with wife Priyanka. Both the lovebirds were enjoying the ride without wearing a helmet.
The actor was penalised Rs 500 by the Mumbai traffic police. Apart from helmet, the actor was also out without a mask, flouting COVID-19 safety rules. The incident took place on Valentine’s Day, celebrated on February 14.
