Vir Das and his comedy is creating quite a storm in the international circuit. The actor-comedian has now officially become the first Indian to have his own Netflix special which just went live yesterday. Abroad Understanding, the comedy special puts Vir amongst the likes of Amy Schumer, Kevin Hart, Jerry Seinfeld who are known globally for their comedy content. Not just that this, the show is also the first originally produced Indian content commissioned and streamed by Netflix globally.
Adding further to his growing popularity internationally, the actor was recently in the US spending time on the sets of one of the most famous talk shows, Conan hosted by popular host Conan O'Brien. From comparing Donald Trump to India's concept of arranged marriage, to making jokes on his own Indian accent, Das had the audience in splits. The comedian also took jibes at Mumbai's lack of space and how America's greatest achievement has been in making different kinds of cereals.
