Hitlist, an action-packed entertainer, is the debut release of Vijay Kanishka.

Vijay Kanishka, who is the son of prominent South Indian filmmaker Vikraman, is set to debut in the film industry with the upcoming, titled Hitlist. The makers of the film held a grand pre-release promotional event for the film and launched its Telugu trailer. It is going to debut theatrically on May 31.

Hitlist is said to be an action-packed entertainer, starring some prominent names in Indian cinema. The pre-release event for the film was held yesterday, May 27. Influential figures like Sri Murali Mohan and Sri Gaddam Prasad, who is the Telangana Assembly speaker, graced the event with their presence as Chief Guests. Producer KS Ravikumar, filmmakers Sooryakathir Kaakkallar, K Karthikeyan, Telugu release producers Srinivas Goud and Bekkam Ravindra were also present at the event along with the film’s crew.

Praising director Vikraman, Murali Mohan shared that as a veteran his contribution is of great value to the industry. Talking about the film he extended his best wishes for its release, saying, “The trailer is very good and I hope the film will be our success." Assembly speaker Gaddam Prasad thanked the producers for inviting him to the event, wishing the team a very successful release.

The film’s producer KS Ravikumar talked about his journey in the film industry and how he met director Vikraman. Expressing his joy at launching Vijay Kanishka, the producer said he was very happy. He stated, “We are coming up with this film on May 31st. I am sure everyone will like this film."

Vijay Kanishka, the hero of the upcoming release, mentioned that even though he is not fluent in Telugu, he loves watching Telugu films. He then thanked the producers Srinivas Goud and Bikkam Ravindra for releasing the film in Telugu.

Hitlist is helmed by Sooryakathir Kaakkallar and K Karthikeyan, who are also the project’s writers. It stars debutant Vijay Kanishka along with names like R Sarathkumar, Samuthirakani, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Munishkanth, Redin Kingsley and more. It is being produced by K S Ravikumar under the banner of RK Celluloids.
